About
Meet your therapist.
I am a Counselling Psychologist and Registered Clinical Hypnotherapist. Throughout my journey, I have had the privilege of working with individuals from diverse backgrounds, helping them navigate emotional challenges, build resilience, and move towards healthier, more fulfilling lives. I firmly believe that every individual has the capacity for growth and healing when they are met with empathy, understanding, and the right therapeutic support. As the Head of Psychological Services at Inspiron, I lead and mentor our team of psychologists while ensuring that the clinical care we provide is ethical, evidence-based, and centred around each client's unique needs. My role extends beyond individual therapy to include clinical supervision, quality assurance, programme development, and fostering a culture of compassionate, client-centred mental healthcare within our organisation. My therapeutic approach is integrative, combining the structured, evidence-based principles of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with the emotional regulation and acceptance-based principles of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). While these frameworks guide my work, I believe that the therapeutic relationship itself is the foundation for meaningful change. I strive to create a warm, collaborative, and non-judgmental space where clients feel safe to express themselves openly, gain deeper self-awareness, and develop practical skills to navigate life's challenges with confidence. Over the years, I have worked extensively with individuals experiencing stress, anxiety, panic attacks, depression, burnout, grief and loss, trauma, emotional regulation difficulties, self-esteem concerns, life transitions, and relationship challenges. I also support couples and families in strengthening communication, resolving conflict, rebuilding trust, and fostering healthier, more connected relationships. My approach is always tailored to the individual's goals, strengths, and lived experiences, recognising that no two therapeutic journeys are the same. A significant area of my practice is women's mental health, and I am deeply passionate about supporting women through different stages of life. This includes helping clients navigate prenatal and postpartum emotional well-being, fertility-related concerns, identity shifts associated with motherhood, work-life transitions, hormonal changes, and the emotional complexities that can arise during these experiences. I believe women deserve spaces where they can feel heard, validated, and supported without judgment. I am also committed to providing inclusive, culturally sensitive, and affirming mental healthcare. I strive to create a therapeutic environment where individuals from all backgrounds feel respected, valued, and safe. This includes offering affirmative care to members of the LGBTQIA+ community, ensuring that therapy remains a space free from judgment, where every person's identity and lived experience are honoured with dignity and compassion.
